Concise European History
Why Europe is The Way it is.
Regardless of how turbulent European history has been, one can conclude that humans have a unique ability to pick themselves up and grow from tragedy. Whether it be disease, war, economic turmoil, or even just figuring out how to live peacefully with our neighbors, European civilization has found a way to thrive and develop into the continent that we know today. There will always be a new and improved way of thinking or doing, and ideological and religious differences are the root of societal change. And though oppression and violence will always try to block the way of progression, Europe will continue to negotiate and renegotiate their goals and needs as the population grows and changes, just as they have done throughout history.
